Why don't I see any new chats coming in?

If you're not seeing chats coming in, follow these steps:

  1. Start by checking that you've selected the appropriate queues.
  2. If you are in the appropriate queues, use Campfire to check in with other service providers.
    • Different libraries may have different network speeds. If you suspect your colleagues' network is faster than yours, ask them to hold back a moment to let you pick up chats. Transferring is always an option too.
  3. Check the chat boxes on one or two of the library websites to make sure there are no technical issues and students can send messages.
  4. If it's none of the above and your colleagues are receiving chats, contact your local coordinator or the Admin Centre for assistance.
